The World Economic Forum announced on Thursday that several cultural leaders will participate in its Annual Meeting 2019 in Davos-Klosters. These cultural leaders will join their peers from business, government, the media and civil society to advance dialogue on how inclusivity and sustainability can be the pillars of change under the meeting’s theme, Globalization 4.0: Shaping a Global Architecture in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. One of the areas that the World Economic Forum seeks to highlight during this annual meeting is a focus on youth, diversity and freedom of expression, and and this year’s Crystal Awardees Marin Alsop, Haifaa Al-Mansour and Sir David Attenborough will participate in the meeting.
The Opening Concert on 21st January will be led by Crystal Awardee Marin Alsop, who conducted the Menuhin Competition Geneva 2018 Opening Concert with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande on 12th April 2018. On 21st January Marin will be conducting the Taki Concordia Orchestra, in association with London’s Southbank Centre and Royal Academy of Music, with Clara Shen featured as soloist.
